Apparently many people are in a Brazilian state of mind – even while pulling those one-armed bandits in Sin City.

I was recently covering the second leg of the PokerStars.net North American Poker Tour at the Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. While heading to the poker room, the slot machine at left stopped me dead in my tracks. I regularly write about Brazil music, travel, and culture, but this sighting really surprised me and brought a smile to my face. I had to take a photo – even though I was warned not to at one point. Surreptitiously, I doubled back later and took a quick pic. What can I say? I couldn’t resist and Vegas is about risk, right?
