Got some time on your hands and a vacation in mind? Brazil’s Azul Airlines is now offering its new Passaporte Azul service – essentially an all-you-can-fly ticket for flights within Brazil.
The tickets, which cost $285, go on sale Oct. 15 and are valid for travel throughout the country through Nov. 16. One day you’re at the beach in Rio – and the next in the lush Brazilian rainforest. The possibilities are endless. There is a bit of small print however – no travel on Fridays, Sundays or holidays—and seat availability factors into being able to book the flights.
Jaunted.com offers some details on the deal and Brazil’s newest airline, which was started by David Neeleman, the Brazilian-born founder of JetBlue Airlines.
Azul is a low-cost airline begun in 2008 and based in Bareuri. Since its inception, it has carved out a nice market share among Brazilian travelers, making it the third largest domestic airline. Azul’s destinations include: Sao Paolo, Rio de Janeiro, Vitoria, Belo Horizonte, Manaus, Recife, Salvador, Maceio, Fortaleza, Campo Grande, Maringa, Curitiba, Navegantes, and Porta Alegre.
Have you flown Azul? What were your impressions?
